Mouse OC/BGP (Osteocalcin) CLIA Kit (MOES00463)

This Sandwich-CLIA assay from Assay Genie is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse OC/BGP (Osteocalcin) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, using a sample volume of 100 μL. Osteocalcin is a key protein involved in bone formation and regulation, and changes in its levels have been linked to conditions such as osteoporosis, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. The kit applies a sandwich chemiluminescence format in which the pre-coated micro CLIA plate is combined with a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate; the resulting Relative Light Unit (RLU) values, read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, are positively associated with target concentration.

Reported performance characteristics include an assay time of 3.5h, a sensitivity of 46.88 pg/mL, and a detection range of 78.13-5000 pg/mL. Both intra-CV and inter-CV are < 15%. The assay recognizes Mouse OC/BGP in samples, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse OC/BGP and analogues observed. Linearity has been evaluated in serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and cell culture media (n=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, while recovery has been assessed in serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and cell culture media (n=5).
