The nucleoporin NUP50 (Nucleoporin 50kDa) is a peripheral component of the nuclear pore complex that mediates the release of karyopherin-cargo complexes on the nucleoplasmic side of the pore. This Assay Genie immunoassay is configured for quantitative measurement of mouse NUP50 protein in research samples using a colorimetric readout on a standard microplate reader.

NUP50 engages importin-alpha through its N-terminal domain and assists in recycling import factors back to the cytoplasm, supporting active nuclear import of transcription factors and signaling molecules.
