Mouse Nucleoside diphosphate kinase A (Nme1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Nucleoside diphosphate kinase A (Nme1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Nme1, employs a colorimetric detection method, and is intended for research use in cancer biology, where dysregulation of NME1 has been linked to cancer progression, metastasis and invasion.

The kit has a stated detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.089ng/mL. Reported intra-assay precision is 6.5% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.0% CV. Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (for example serum 1:2 103-114% and heparin plasma 1:16 93-101%). Recovery is reported as an average of 92% (range 86-98) for serum and 94% (range 88-100) for plasma. The target protein, also known by synonyms including NDPK-A, NM23, NDK A, nm23-M1, Nm23 and Tumor metastatic process-associated protein, is localised to the cytoplasm and nucleus and plays a major role in the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates other than ATP, with described involvement in cell proliferation, differentiation, development, signal transduction, G protein-coupled receptor endocytosis and gene expression, as well as a requirement for neural development including neural patterning and cell fate determination.
