Mouse Nucleolar GTP-binding protein 1 (Gtpbp4) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Nucleolar GTP-binding protein 1 (Gtpbp4). The kit is intended for research use only and supports work in the Epigenetics research area, where GTPBP4 is of interest for its role in the biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit and its localisation to the nucleus and nucleolus.

Validated for mouse samples, the assay provides a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.401ng/mL. It accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Nucleolar GTP-binding protein 1.

Detection is performed by a colourimetric sandwich ELISA read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. The protocol uses separate Detection Reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution, with sample, reagent, and substrate incubations carried out at 37°C, and the reaction terminated with stop solution before the optical density is recorded. Individual reagent components are stored at -20°C or 4°C depending on the component.
