The Mouse Nucleobindin-2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a competitive immunoassay that provides quantitative measurement of NUCB2, the precursor polypeptide of the anorexigenic peptide nesfatin-1. NUCB2 is expressed in hypothalamic nuclei and pancreatic islets and is implicated in appetite suppression, insulin secretion, and stress responses. The kit is supplied in a microplate format with absorbance-based readout on standard plate readers.
