The glucocorticoid receptor, encoded by the Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 3, Group C, Member 1 (NR3C1) gene, mediates cellular responses to corticosterone in mouse models. This Assay Genie ELISA Kit quantifies NR3C1 protein levels in tissue homogenates and cell lysates from mouse specimens, supporting studies of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis activity, stress signaling cascades, glucocorticoid-modulated gene expression, and metabolic or inflammatory pathways regulated by corticosteroids.

Configured for 96 assays per kit with an absorbance-based readout, the assay runs on standard microplate equipment and supports parallel processing of experimental and control samples. Each kit contains reagents validated for mouse reactivity with refrigerated storage recommended for working components. Intended for research use only in vitro applications, the kit complements western blot validation, gene expression correlation analyses, and pharmacological screening workflows.

Applications include examination of glucocorticoid sensitivity in neural and peripheral tissues, evaluation of receptor density changes in mouse disease models, characterization of corticosterone-regulated pathways in immunology research, and investigation of NR3C1 involvement in endocrinology and behavioral neuroscience.
