Mouse Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p105 subunit (Nfkb1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p105 subunit (Nfkb1). It is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for research use only.

The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with a reported detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.091 ng/mL. Detection is performed by ELISA on a pre-coated microplate, and the assay shows an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%. It specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p105 subunit (UniProt P25799; NCBI Gene ID 18033).

Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery in serum averaged 97% (range 91–103%) and in plasma averaged 99% (range 93–105%). NF-kappa-B is a pleiotropic transcription factor present in almost all cell types, regulating genes involved in inflammation, immunity, differentiation, cell growth, tumorigenesis and apoptosis; the p105 subunit can be processed to generate the p50 DNA-binding subunit.
