Mouse NT proBNP ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Mouse NT proBNP ELISA Kit is a sandwich double-antibody enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Mouse NT proBNP (N-Terminal Pro-Brain Natriuretic Peptide) in mouse samples. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein. Standards and appropriately diluted samples are added to the wells and incubated, allowing the analyte to bind. After washing, a biotinylated detection antibody specific to a different epitope is added to form a sandwich complex. HRP-conjugated Streptavidin is then added, followed by TMB substrate solution to produce a colorimetric reaction. The reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader. Signal intensity is directly proportional to analyte concentration and is determined using a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measuring range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. It should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity (across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions) is 87-101% to 89-103% for serum, 85-95% to 82-101% for EDTA plasma, and 80-100% to 85-100% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages are 93% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma.
