From Assay Genie, the Mouse NPW23 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of Neuropeptide W 23, a 23-residue amidated peptide ligand of the GPR7 and GPR8 receptors. Investigators working on metabolic regulation, feeding behavior, and hypothalamic signaling use this NPW23 immunoassay to track peptide release in cell culture supernatant, murine blood-derived fractions, or hypothalamic tissue homogenates.

Each kit includes an anti-NPW23 antibody-coated microtiter plate, biotinylated NPW23 tracer, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, washing buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, stop solution, assay diluent, and a lyophilized calibrator sufficient for an 8-point standard curve. The competitive binding step consumes 50 uL of prepared sample per well, with incubations performed at room temperature and the plate kept protected from light.
