Mouse NOS3/eNOS ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the precise quantification of mouse endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) levels in biological samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, using a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after stop solution addition.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions lies within 80-102% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery averages are 94% in serum, 99% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges of 86-102%, 87-103% and 86-102%. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months and is associated with UniProt entry P70313.

Endothelial nitric oxide synthase is a key enzyme involved in the production of nitric oxide, which plays a crucial role in regulating blood flow and vascular function. Dysregulation of eNOS activity has been implicated in cardiovascular disorders, diabetes and inflammatory conditions, and the kit is intended to support research into the role of eNOS in health and disease. The protocol involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB colour development for 10-20 minutes in the dark.
