Mouse Normal mucosa of esophagus-specific gene 1 protein (Nmes1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format, colorimetric ELISA is intended for quantitative detection of mouse Normal mucosa of esophagus-specific gene 1 protein (Nmes1) in research samples such as tissue homogenates, serum, plasma and cell culture supernates. For research use only, the kit supports cell biology investigations of Nmes1, a protein associated with esophageal mucosa integrity whose expression is reduced in esophageal carcinoma samples (UniProt Q810Q5).

The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Nmes1 and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Quoted performance figures include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.172 ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.9% and inter-assay CV of 9.5%. Recovery was 97% (range 91–103%) for serum and 99% (range 93–105%) for plasma. The protein has a reported molecular weight of 12.6 kDa and subcellular localisation in the nucleus.
