Mouse Non-secretory ribonuclease (Rnase2) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of mouse non-secretory ribonuclease (RNase2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. RNase2, encoded by the Ear4 gene (UniProt O35291), has been described as a pyrimidine-specific nuclease with cytotoxin and helminthotoxin activity, and is implicated in RNA degradation, immune response, and inflammation.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.4 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.1% and inter-assay CV is 8.6%. Linearity was validated in serum (83-117%), EDTA plasma (87-114%) and heparin plasma (90-115%) across serial dilutions. Recovery in serum averaged 96% (range 90-102%) and in plasma averaged 98% (range 92-104%). The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa.

Detection is by colorimetric sandwich ELISA with absorbance read at 450 nm. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse non-secretory ribonuclease. The protein has been localised to the lysosome and the matrix of the eosinophil's large specific granule. For research use only.
