Mouse Non-histone chromosomal protein HMG-17 (Hmgn2) ELISA Kit

It is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/mL. The assay specifically recognizes both natural and recombinant mouse HMG-17.

HMGN2 is a nuclear protein involved in chromosomal architecture. It binds the inner side of nucleosomal DNA and modulates the interaction between DNA and the histone octamer, playing a role in maintaining transcribable genes in a unique chromatin conformation. Its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, developmental disorders, and autoimmune conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for related research.
