Mouse Nitric oxide synthase, endothelial (Nos3) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative detection of mouse endothelial nitric oxide synthase (Nos3). It is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56-100 U/mL, a sensitivity of 0.781 U/mL, an intra-assay CV of 7.5%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.5%. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 86% (range 80-92%) in serum and 88% (range 82-94%) in plasma.

Endothelial nitric oxide synthase produces nitric oxide, a signaling molecule implicated in vascular smooth muscle relaxation through a cGMP-mediated pathway, VEGF-induced angiogenesis in coronary vessels, and platelet activation. The kit is for research use only.
