Mouse NGB (Neuroglobin) ELISA Kit (MOES01290)

Assay Genie's Mouse Neuroglobin (NGB) ELISA Kit uses a matched antibody pair pre-immobilized on a strip plate to capture endogenous neuroglobin from prepared mouse specimens. Investigators running middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) models, chronic mild stress paradigms, or hypoxic preconditioning studies typically pair this immunoassay with western blot confirmation of NGB induction in cerebral cortex, hippocampus, retina, or sciatic nerve homogenates. The recombinant mouse NGB calibrator provided with the kit is supplied at 20 ng/mL and serially diluted to construct the standard curve used for sample interpolation.

The kit ships with a sealed foil pouch containing the coated plate, a bottle of concentrated wash buffer, TMB substrate solution, stop reagent, detection antibody vial, and standard vials. Unopened components remain stable for up to 12 months under refrigerated storage between experiments; reconstituted standards and working dilutions should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw exposure beyond two cycles. Capture and detection reagents have been validated against recombinant and native mouse neuroglobin with no significant cross-reactivity reported against hemoglobin, myoglobin, or cytoglobin, supporting clean quantification in mixed-tissue lysates. Each well receives 100 µL of prepared sample or reagent, and results are calculated from the standard curve after subtracting background readings.
