Mouse NF-kappa-B-activating protein (Nkap) ELISA Kit

NKAP functions as a transcriptional repressor and acts as a transcriptional corepressor of Notch-mediated signaling required for T-cell development. It is also involved in TNF- and IL-1-induced NF-kappa-B activation, associating with chromatin at the Notch-regulated SKP2 promoter. The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse NF-kappa-B-activating protein (UniProt Q9D0F4).

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.5 pg/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Recovery is reported as 86–98% (average 92%) for serum and 88–100% (average 94%) for plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) for serum (86–110%), EDTA plasma (89–112%), and heparin plasma (81–108%).
