Mouse Neurotrophin 4 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Neurotrophin-4 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, using a colorimetric detection method. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is reactive with mouse samples. According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity values (n=5) for serum are 86-101% at 1:2, 85-97% at 1:4 and 80-99% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma 88-103%, 82-99% and 80-99%; and for heparin plasma 88-100%, 86-101% and 82-99%. Recovery data (n=5) are 89-102% (average 95%) for serum, 88-99% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. The procedure includes sample incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added.
