Mouse Neuronal-specific septin-3 (Sept3) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for accurate quantification of mouse neuronal-specific septin-3, also referred to as SEPT3 or Sep3, in research samples. The kit is reactive with mouse and is intended for neurobiology research, where SEPT3 is studied for its role as a filament-forming cytoskeletal GTPase that may play a role in cytokinesis. The protein is reported to localize to the cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, cell junctions and synapses.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.063ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.9% and inter-assay CV is 7.8%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (95-120%), EDTA plasma (92-119%) and heparin plasma (99-114%) across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averages 87% in serum (range 81-93%) and 89% in plasma (range 83-95%).
