Mouse Neurofilament light polypeptide (Nefl) ELISA Kit

Designed for neuroscience research, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables the quantification of Mouse Neurofilament light polypeptide (NEFL), also referred to as 68 kDa neurofilament protein, Neurofilament triplet L protein, NF-L, Nf68 and Nfl, in mouse samples. NEFL is a key protein of the nervous system that plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of neurons, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions.

Using a colorimetric detection method, the kit has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.6pg/mL. Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and the kit recognises natural and recombinant mouse NEFL. Reported intra-assay precision is 6.9% and inter-assay precision is 8.7%.
