Mouse Neural cell adhesion molecule L1 (L1cam) ELISA Kit

L1CAM is a transmembrane glycoprotein that supports neural development through neuron–neuron adhesion, neurite fasciculation, and the outgrowth of neurites. Dysregulation of L1CAM has been implicated in neurological disorders such as autism, schizophrenia, and multiple sclerosis. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse L1CAM and is positioned in the signal transduction research area; the protein is a single-pass type I membrane protein located at the cell membrane, including at axonal growth cones where it interacts with SHTN1.

Quoted performance figures from the manufacturer datasheet include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.405 ng/mL. The target protein corresponds to UniProt entry P11627 and has a molecular weight of 140,969 Da.
