Mouse Nesfatin-1/Nucleobindin-2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit provides a reliable tool for quantitative detection of mouse Nesfatin-1/Nucleobindin-2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay uses a double antibody format and is reactive with mouse samples, making it suitable for research into appetite regulation, metabolism, obesity, diabetes and related metabolic disorders.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) ranged from 91-104% at 1:2, 88-99% at 1:4 and 81-100% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 85-104%, 93-98% and 88-95%; heparin plasma (n=5) showed 85-103%, 89-98% and 87-99%. Recovery averaged 94% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (each n=5).

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, adding HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes at 37°C, developing with TMB substrate for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
