Mouse NeIL-3/Endonuclease 8-like 3 ELISA Kit

A colourimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for quantitative detection of mouse NeIL-3, also known as Endonuclease 8-like 3, Nei-like protein 3, Endonuclease VIII-like 3 and DNA glycosylase FPG2. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Using a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, the assay is read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL and the standard range is 0.781-50 ng/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 93-102%, 85-104% and 87-99% for serum (n=5); 85-95%, 87-98% and 84-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 80-100%, 86-90% and 80-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery across these matrices averages 92% (serum, range 85-102%), 95% (EDTA plasma, range 87-100%) and 91% (heparin plasma, range 87-94%). The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, SABC concentrate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer and plate sealer; components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

NeIL-3 (UniProt Q8K203) is a DNA glycosylase with a documented role in DNA repair, including replication-associated repair in neonatal tissues and activity on single-stranded DNA substrates. The target has research relevance within epigenetics and nuclear signalling.
