Mouse NDNF/Neuron-derived neurotrophic factor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate detection of mouse NDNF (Neuron-Derived Neurotrophic Factor), a key neurotrophic factor that promotes neuron survival and function. The kit is intended for neuroscience research applications, where the analyte serves as a valuable biomarker for investigating conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders.

It accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Performance has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. Linearity for serum spans 85–99% (1:2), 89–99% (1:4) and 85–100% (1:8); EDTA plasma 84–97%, 82–97% and 87–99%; heparin plasma 86–97%, 86–100% and 81–94%. Recovery averages 92% for serum (range 89–102%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 89–105%) and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85–101%).

Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for antigen binding, biotinylated detection antibody incubation, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB substrate colour development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
