Mouse NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase 3 (Cyb5r3) ELISA Kit

The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, making it suitable for cardiovascular research applications.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Precision performance includes an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Recovery is reported at 100% (94–106%) for serum and 102% (96–108%) for plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution series for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Specificity is established for both natural and recombinant mouse Cyb5r3, and the protein is catalogued under UniProt accession Q9DCN2 with a molecular weight of 31,550 Da. Isoform 2 is localised to the cytoplasm and produces the soluble form found in erythrocytes.
