Mouse N-glycosylase/DNA lyase (Ogg1) ELISA Kit

Ogg1 is a DNA repair enzyme that incises DNA at 8-oxoG residues, excises 7,8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine and 2,6-diamino-4-hydroxy-5-N-methylformamidopyrimidine (FAPY) from damaged DNA, and has a beta-lyase activity that nicks DNA 3' to the lesion. The annotated entry is UniProt O08760 (NCBI Gene ID 18294), with a molecular weight of 38,883 Da. Subcellular localisation is reported in the nucleus, including nucleoplasm, nuclear speckles and the nuclear matrix, where it is recruited together with APEX1 to nuclear speckles in UVA-irradiated cells.
