Mouse N-alpha-acetyltransferase 20 (Naa20) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit enables quantitative determination of mouse N-alpha-acetyltransferase 20 (Naa20). It is reactive against mouse samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Naa20. Detection is carried out by a colorimetric ELISA method, and the kit is supplied for research use only.

Assay performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/ml, a sensitivity of 39.2pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.4%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. Recovery averages 97% (range 91-103%) for serum and 99% (range 93-105%) for plasma. Naa20 is the catalytic subunit of the NatB acetyltransferase complex, composed of NAA20 and NAA25, which acetylates N-terminal methionine residues of peptides beginning with Met-Asp, Met-Glu, Met-Asn, or Met-Gln, and the protein localises to the cytoplasm and nucleus (UniProt P61600).
