Mouse Myomesin-3 (Myom3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, a sandwich-format ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Myomesin-3 (Myom3). The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for research use only. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and the kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Myomesin-3.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.168ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.3% and inter-assay CV is 9.5%. Recovery values are 89% (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% (range 85-97%) for plasma. Linearity has been evaluated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, with serum ranging 97-117%, EDTA plasma 89-112% and heparin plasma 88-119%.

The target protein, Myomesin-3, is described as potentially linking the intermediate filament cytoskeleton to the M-disk of the myofibrils in striated muscle, with a reported molecular weight of 161,778 Da.
