Mouse MYO (Myoglobin) ELISA Kit (MOES00687)

Myoglobin (MYO) is a 17 kDa heme-containing protein expressed in cardiac and skeletal muscle, released into circulation following tissue injury. This sandwich ELISA supports quantitative detection of mouse myoglobin in serum, plasma, and other biological fluid samples using a pre-coated 96-well microplate and colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm.

The Assay Genie kit includes a calibration standard curve for interpolating unknown sample concentrations, typically reported in ng/mL or pg/mL. Common applications include cardiovascular injury research, exercise physiology studies, muscular dystrophy models, and preclinical drug safety screening, where myoglobin serves as an early biomarker for muscle damage. Paired capture and detection antibodies provide specificity for the mouse target with minimal cross-reactivity.
