Mouse Myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD88 (Myd88) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD88 (Myd88) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse MyD88.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 39.2pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma. Linearity was evaluated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

MyD88 is described as an adapter protein involved in Toll-like receptor and IL-1 receptor signaling pathways in the innate immune response, acting via IRAK1, IRAK2, IRF7 and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation and cytokine secretion.
