Mouse Myelin-oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (Mog) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Myelin-oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is intended for research use only and supports neuroscience investigations, including studies of MOG as a biomarker in autoimmune and demyelinating conditions such as multiple sclerosis.

The assay reports a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.5pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.2% (CV) and inter-assay precision is 5.9% (CV). Spike-and-recovery performance is reported as 87% (range 81-93) for serum and 89% (range 83-95) for plasma. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse MOG, which functions as a minor component of the myelin sheath, mediates homophilic cell-cell adhesion and is reported as a homodimer (UniProt Q61885).
