Mouse Myc proto-oncogene protein (Myc) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of mouse Myc proto-oncogene protein. The assay is intended for use with mouse samples and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant mouse Myc proto-oncogene protein.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 8.12 pg/ml. Intra-assay CV is 6.9% and inter-assay CV is 8.7%. Linearity was evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (88–116%), EDTA plasma (82–120%) and heparin plasma (92–118%). Average recovery is 87% with a range of 81–93% in serum and 89% with a range of 83–95% in plasma. The Myc protein functions as a transcription factor that binds DNA in a non-specific manner while also specifically recognizing the core sequence 5'-CAC[GA]TG-3', activating transcription of growth-related genes.
