Mouse Mucin 4 (MUC4) ELISA Kit

This immunoassay from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Mucin 4 in research samples. MUC4 is a membrane-tethered glycoprotein commonly studied in airway epithelium, ocular surface tissue, and gastrointestinal tract biology, as well as in tumor models where altered mucin expression contributes to epithelial barrier dysfunction and cancer progression.

The assay accepts tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, and similar sample matrices, giving flexibility for cell-based and tissue-level studies. Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, capture and detection reagents, standards, and buffers needed to generate a standard curve. Plates are read on a standard microplate reader.

Important handling notes: allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature before use, prepare standard dilutions fresh, and run samples in duplicate to ensure reliable quantification. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive specifically with mouse samples.
