Mouse Mucin-1/MUC1 ELISA Kit

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of Mucin-1/MUC1 in mouse samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) with serum samples ranging 87–104%, 86–103%, and 90–95%; EDTA plasma at 83–98%, 82–95%, and 84–101%; and heparin plasma at 88–96%, 82–98%, and 82–94%. Recovery values average 95% for serum (range 86–98%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 87–104%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 86–101%). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

MUC1 is a transmembrane glycoprotein linked to cell adhesion and signalling, and aberrant expression has been associated with cancer progression and metastasis. By measuring MUC1 levels, researchers can investigate its role in cancer development and evaluate its potential as a therapeutic target.
