Mouse Motor neuron and pancreas homeobox protein 1 (Mnx1) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Motor neuron and pancreas homeobox protein 1 (Mnx1), also referred to as Homeobox protein HB9 or Hlxb9. The assay shows reactivity toward mouse samples and detects both natural and recombinant Mnx1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Mnx1 is a nuclear transcription factor that contributes to motor neuron biology and to pancreas development and function. Dysregulation of Mnx1 has been linked to neurodegenerative disease and diabetes, supporting its use as a biomarker in relevant research. The assay has a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.72 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.8% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.8% CV. Spike-and-recovery averaged 90% (range 84–96%) in serum and 92% (range 86–98%) in plasma, and linearity was demonstrated across mouse serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
