Mouse Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14 (Cd14) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse monocyte differentiation antigen CD14 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, is reactive with mouse samples, and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse CD14.

The kit has a reported detection range of 0.625-40ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.328ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity in serum (N=5) at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 98-108%, 91-99%, 109-119% and 96-106%; in EDTA plasma 103-115%, 84-96%, 101-113% and 111-119%; and in heparin plasma 99-109%, 113-123%, 82-91% and 102-114%. Recovery in serum averaged 94% (range 88-100%) and in plasma averaged 96% (range 90-102%).

CD14 is described as a coreceptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharide that, together with LBP, delivers monomeric LPS to the LY96/TLR4 complex to mediate the innate immune response. The kit is for research use only and is intended for immunology research applications.
