Mouse Monoamine Oxidase A (MAOA) ELISA Kit

This in vitro quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is engineered for measuring Monoamine Oxidase A (MAOA) protein concentrations in mouse specimens using a colorimetric readout. MAOA is a flavin-containing mitochondrial outer-membrane enzyme that catalyzes the oxidative deamination of biogenic amines, including serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. Aberrant MAOA activity and expression are investigated across mood-disorder research, aggression studies, neurodegenerative disease models, and pharmacological response profiling.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, detection reagents, calibrated reference standards, wash buffer, and substrate solution required to generate a standard curve and quantify MAOA in serum samples and plasma samples, in tissue homogenate preparations, and in additional mouse-derived specimens. Each kit supports 96 individual assay determinations.
