Mouse Molybdenum cofactor sulfurase (Mocos) ELISA Kit

MOCOS is a key enzyme that sulfurates the molybdenum cofactor, a modification required for the active form of molybdenum cofactor-bearing enzymes such as xanthine dehydrogenase (XDH) and aldehyde oxidase (ADO). Dysregulation of MOCOS has been linked to disease, making it a useful biomarker for metabolism research. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an Intra CV of 7.4% and an Inter CV of 9.0%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (96–108% to 100–112%), EDTA plasma (87–99% to 93–104%) and heparin plasma (116–126% to 104–114%) over serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16), with recovery of 90% (84–96%) in serum and 92% (86–98%) in plasma.
