Mouse MMP 9 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Mouse Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection is intended for research into extracellular matrix degradation, tissue remodelling, wound healing, inflammation and cancer metastasis.

Reported analytical sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 86–94%, 85–101% and 88–105% in serum (n = 5); 83–101%, 87–101% and 82–97% in EDTA plasma (n = 5); and 81–99%, 84–92% and 84–97% in heparin plasma (n = 5). Spike-and-recovery averages are 97% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 99% in heparin plasma, with individual ranges of 86–105%, 94–101% and 88–104% respectively. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The procedure equilibrates reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature before loading standards, samples and a zero control onto the pre-coated plate. After a 90-minute incubation at 37°C for antigen binding, a biotin-labelled detection antibody is added for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is incubated in the dark for 10–20 minutes, the reaction is stopped, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.
