Mouse MMP-13 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of matrix metalloproteinase-13 (MMP-13) in mouse samples using a colorimetric detection method. Sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

MMP-13 is a key enzyme involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix components, with roles in tissue remodeling, wound healing, and pathological conditions such as arthritis and cancer. The double-antibody sandwich format uses biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB substrate development, and absorbance readout at 450 nm. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) is reported as 90–97%, 87–102%, and 92–100% for serum; 83–98%, 85–100%, and 82–95% for EDTA plasma; and 85–97%, 87–100%, and 82–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 90–104% for serum (average 97%), 86–104% for EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 85–104% for heparin plasma (average 95%).
