Mouse MIF ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor (MIF) in mouse samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format, it supports research in immunology and the investigation of inflammation, immune response, cellular signaling, autoimmune disease, and cancer-related pathways.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 87–97%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 88–100%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85–103%). Linearity ranges across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions are 94–103%, 88–104%, and 85–105% for serum; 84–100%, 82–94%, and 83–101% for EDTA plasma; and 80–95%, 91–99%, and 83–101% for heparin plasma.

The workflow uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin binding, and TMB substrate development, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for 12 months.
