Mouse Midline 1 (MID1) ELISA Kit

The MID1 gene encodes the Midline-1 protein (also known as TRIM18), a RING-finger E3 ubiquitin ligase that associates with microtubules and is required for normal embryonic patterning. Loss-of-function mutations in MID1 cause X-linked Opitz G/BBB syndrome, and altered MID1 activity has been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma, melanoma, and models of Parkinson disease, where it regulates alpha-synuclein and mTOR signaling.

Assay Genie's Mouse Midline 1 ELISA Kit supports quantitative measurement of endogenous MID1 protein in mouse-derived tissue homogenates and related sample matrices. It is useful in studies of TRIM family biology, X-linked developmental disorders, and the role of MID1 in mTOR and alpha-synuclein pathways, and can be combined with western blot or immunohistochemistry for orthogonal validation.

The assay uses a colorimetric readout on a standard microplate and ships as a complete reagent set including pre-coated wells, buffers, detection antibody, and standard. Sufficient reagents are included for 96 individual reactions, allowing duplicate or triplicate measurements of multiple samples.
