Mouse Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (Mapre1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative detection of mouse Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (Mapre1), also referred to as APC-binding protein EB1, End-binding protein 1, and EB1. The kit is intended for research use only and uses a colorimetric ELISA workflow with absorbance measured at 450 nm.

The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse MAPRE1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.09 ng/mL, with intra-assay and inter-assay precision, linearity, and recovery data provided with the kit.

MAPRE1 binds the plus end of microtubules and regulates the dynamics of the microtubule cytoskeleton, promoting cytoplasmic microtubule nucleation and elongation. The protein localises to the microtubule network at the growing distal tip and is enriched at the centrosome, where it may contribute to spindle function, cell migration, and intracellular transport.
