Mouse Microsomal triglyceride transfer protein large subunit (Mttp) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Mouse Microsomal Triglyceride Transfer Protein (MTTP) large subunit, supporting research into lipid metabolism and associated diseases. The double-antibody sandwich assay is reactive with mouse samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. MTTP plays a central role in the transfer of triglycerides to apolipoprotein B for the formation of very-low-density lipoproteins (VLDL) and chylomicrons, and its dysregulation has been linked to obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, and fatty liver disease, making the protein a relevant biomarker in mouse models.

Reported sensitivities include 0.188 ng/mL and 0.054 ng/mL, with assay ranges of 0.313–20 ng/mL, 0.156–10 ng/mL, and 0.16–10 ng/mL. Across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, linearity has been verified at multiple dilutions, recovery values have been reported between 80% and 105%, intra-assay precision is reported at CV <10%, inter-assay precision at CV <12%, and stability testing shows less than 5% activity loss within the shelf life of 12 months under recommended storage.
