Mouse Mia2 ELISA Kit

This competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of MIA2 (Melanoma Inhibitory Activity 2) levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. It uses a colorimetric, competitive ELISA format with antigen-coated wells and is intended to support research into melanoma progression and associated cancer types, including studies of tumorigenesis, metastasis, and potential therapeutic targets.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL, with a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity values are 82-99% (1:2), 82-101% (1:4), and 85-99% (1:8) for serum (n = 10); 80-97%, 88-98%, and 88-97% for EDTA plasma (n = 10); and 89-104%, 91-104%, and 86-102% for heparin plasma (n = 10). Recovery ranges are 90-103% (average 98%) for serum, 90-105% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 90-101% (average 91%) for heparin plasma (each n = 10). The kit should be stored sealed at 2-8°C and not cryopreserved.

The protocol equilibrates TMB substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature, adds 50 µL of standard or sample plus 50 µL of biotin-labeled antibody per well with incubation at 37°C for 45 minutes, washes the plate five times, develops colour with TMB substrate in the dark at 37°C for 10-20 minutes, stops the reaction (blue to yellow colour change), and measures absorbance at 450 nm.
