Mouse Meteorin (Metrn) ELISA Kit

The kit is intended for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and it detects both natural and recombinant mouse Meteorin. Meteorin is a secreted protein with roles in neuronal development and metabolic regulation; it is involved in glial cell differentiation and axonal network formation during neurogenesis, promotes astrocyte differentiation, and induces axonal extension in small and intermediate neurons of sensory ganglia, making the kit a relevant tool for neuroscience research.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39 pg/mL. Reported intra-assay and inter-assay CV values are each 0.0%. Linearity has been characterised across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for serum (100-117%), EDTA plasma (96-118%) and heparin plasma (81-110%). Recovery in both serum and plasma is reported at an average of 80% (range 80-80%). The colour change is read at 450 nm.
