Mouse Metalloproteinase inhibitor 2 (Timp2) ELISA Kit

The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Metalloproteinase inhibitor 2, with a reported detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.81pg/mL.

TIMP2 is a key regulator of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), essential enzymes involved in tissue remodeling, wound healing and various pathological processes; the protein complexes with metalloproteinases such as collagenases and irreversibly inactivates them by binding to their catalytic zinc cofactor. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%, with serum recovery of 83% (range 80-89%) and plasma recovery of 85% (range 80-91%). The target is a secreted protein with a reported molecular weight of 23.2kDa (UniProt P25785). For research use only.
