Manufactured by Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA enables the quantitative detection of metal regulatory transcription factor 1 (MTF1) in mouse samples, providing accurate and reproducible results. The assay targets a nuclear transcription factor that activates the metallothionein I promoter by binding to the metal responsive element (MRE), and is suited to research into metal homeostasis, oxidative stress response, and conditions such as Wilson's disease and hemochromatosis.

Reactivity is specific to mouse, and the kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse MTF1 (also referred to as MRE-binding transcription factor, Transcription factor MTF-1, and Mtf-1).
