Mouse Meprin A subunit beta (Mep1b) ELISA Kit

Mep1b is a membrane metallopeptidase that forms part of the meprin metalloprotease complex. The enzyme sheds numerous membrane-bound proteins, shows a strong preference for acidic amino acids at the P1' position, and acts on substrates including FGF19, VGFA, IL1B, IL18, procollagen I and III, E-cadherin, KLK7, gastrin, ADAM10, and tenascin-C. It contributes to tissue remodeling, inflammation, and wound healing, and its dysregulation has been linked to fibrosis, arthritis, and inflammatory disorders, supporting its value as a biomarker for disease research.
