Mouse Melanoma inhibitory activity protein 2 (Mia2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers an immunoassay kit designed for the quantitative determination of mouse Melanoma Inhibitory Activity Protein 2 (MIA2), also known as CTAGE family member 5 ER export factor (Ctage5). The kit is for research use only and is relevant to cancer research, where MIA2 has been studied in relation to melanoma cell biology. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse MIA2.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.178ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 8.3% and an inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been evaluated across serial sample dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 90% (range 84-96%) in serum and 92% (range 86-98%) in plasma. The target protein (UniProt Q91ZV0) is a single-pass membrane protein of the endoplasmic reticulum membrane that localises to endoplasmic reticulum exit sites, with a molecular weight of 57,777 Da.
