Mouse Medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (Acadm) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (ACADM, also known as MCAD) in mouse samples. The mitochondrial enzyme plays a key role in fatty acid beta-oxidation and is a relevant biomarker for metabolic and cardiovascular research.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse ACADM. Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Linearity in serum ranges from 93–102% at a 1:2 dilution to 111–120% at 1:16, with comparable values reported for EDTA and heparin plasma. Recovery is 103% (97–109%) in serum and 105% (99–111%) in plasma. The product is supplied in a solid-phase format and is intended for research use only.
